How Garment Remodelling Works
Every project begins with an inquiry and a close assessment of the garment, its fabric, and its condition. This step helps define what can be adjusted, what can be reused, and where the material sets limits.
After the review, we discuss the redesign direction and provide a written scope with a custom quote. For remodelling work, concept approval comes first, and any additional work is only started after approval.
Clear scope, careful fitting, and thoughtful reuse.
A practical look at how The Tailor's Touch turns existing garments into wearable new pieces.
Our work covers dress and skirt remodelling, shirt and jacket restyling, vintage-garment fit updates, and fabric-reuse accessory projects. Each piece is shaped around the garment you already have, so the final result depends on construction and available material.
We also review customer-supplied materials and can quote supplementary items separately when needed. Final fitting or finish review is part of the process, so the garment can be checked before collection.
